Diversification is the key to a successful Internet presence

As we all know the Internet has expanded enormously in the past year. The goal for any business is to a part of that growth. The best bet for anyone is to get a piece of every pie that’s available.

New shopping portals are popping up every day. From Shopping.com to Froogle, they all play a part in the search engine market.  I can not say for sure whether you should use these, because it varies per product. However, I can tell they are worth researching.

Not only could you receive more sales from these portals, but you will also get more links, which in turn will improve your brand presence across the Internet. Your goal is to dominant the search engines as much as possible.

For instance, going back to the electric can opener example from a previous article … Let’s say someone searches for “electric can openers”. Ideally, your site should show up. But your shopping portal sites could also show up, along with your E-bay Store and your Amazon Store, your affiliates, and any other avenue you can find. If all your “avenues” show up, no matter where the user clicks it will be your revenue.

So research every avenue you can find. Evaluate costs vs return. Make an impact in the search world quickly.
