If you have read a few of my posts before, you probably know that my background is in search engine optimization and pay-per-click search marketing. In that industry, there are tons of webinars, articles, and events every year. Unfortunately, many of those are just not possible in the current tight budget times. However, if there is one conference I can count on every year, it’s Search Engine Strategies San Jose.
I am going again this year. Are you?
My last Search Engine Strategies Conference was in December, at SES Chicago. There I spoke on vertical search, specifically as it relates to the travel industry. That was my first SES Chicago visit. Although it was fun and had some good content, it is not San Jose.
I am attending this year as a regular attendee, not a speaker. I am already anxious to see several industry friends and colleagues. As the dates get closer, I will start posting more about some of the sessions I plan to attend.
If you plan to go to SES San Jose, please let me know. Where are you staying, when are you arriving?

See you there John - I agree San Jose is probably the best SES as far as content - New York is the best as far as fun stuff only semi-conference-related

I’ll be there, John. Flying in on Monday and out on Friday. I’ve ducked out early the last two years and this time will stay to the end. I’m at the St. Claire.
