It’s a common phrase for those of us that have been involved in the search industry for awhile (Pills, Porn, and Poker). Those are three industries that Google regulates strongly. The three industries, better known as pharmaceutical, pornography, and gambling sites are not allowed to participate in Google advertising.
As an indication of how they take these restrictions seriously, Google just announced they are cracking down on certain pharmaceuticals companies.
Official Google Blog: Taking rogue pharmacies to court
In a recent post on the Official Google Blog, they noted they are filing a lawsuit against pharmaceutical advertisers who they believe are breaking the terms and conditions. Although Google has protections and safeguards in place, these “rogue pharmacies” often stay a step ahead of Google.

According to Google – “Litigation of this kind should act as a serious deterrent to anyone thinking about circumventing our policies to advertise illegally on Google. As we identify additional bad actors, we will add them to the lawsuit.”
Taking legal action against websites is nothing new for Google. In June 2010, Google recently won a lawsuit that bans certain sites from using the Google name and logo.
